Scaleup Leaders
Stories from leaders who have scaled and advice for leaders who will.
Why this newsletter?
There’s a lot of advice for leaders and managers out there.
Most of it sucks unless you’re at Unilever, figuring out how to sell more shampoo and mayonnaise while wearing a beige suit. But if you’ve just raised a Series C round, your environment is probably a little more… dynamic.
This newsletter is for people who thrive in the chaos of scaling startups and fast-moving organizations. Here, you’ll find stories from leaders who’ve been in the trenches—growing teams, navigating uncertainty, and turning bold visions into reality.
We’ll extract the lessons from their journeys, and I’ll share lessons I’ve collected over the years, so you can become the kind of leader who builds not just successful companies, but great places to work.
Who should I interview?
Know a leader who’s scaled successfully? Someone you admire because they’re sharp, insightful, or just tell damn good stories? Introduce us! I’d love to interview them and bring their experiences to my audience.
Who am I?
I’ve led teams at Google and Amazon, consulted for Fortune 500 companies, and coached CEOs at startups that have raised anywhere from $400M to $400K. I’ve seen firsthand that the biggest factor in making organizations successful—and great places to work—is leadership.
From the CEO to the informal leaders like Product Managers, the people at the helm shape everything. That’s what this newsletter is about: learning from the best so we can create more great leaders.
